Official Rules
Effective June 17, 2026.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor
This giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Jamie Thomas (“Sponsor”). Questions about this Giveaway may be directed to the Sponsor at jathomasbooks@gmail.com.
2. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family members and households are not eligible. The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Entry Period
The Giveaway begins on June 17, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time and ends on June 23, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (the “Entry Period”). All entries must be received and confirmed during the Entry Period. The Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper for the Giveaway.
4. How to Enter
Online entry: During the Entry Period, find the five (5) hidden herb botanical prints displayed among the artwork on the gallery wall at jamiethomasbooks.com, then visit jamiethomasbooks.com/giveaway and submit the entry form naming all five herbs, along with a valid email address and the required confirmations. After submitting, you must click the confirmation link sent to your email address; your entry is not complete or eligible until you confirm your email (double opt-in).
Entry is completely free; no purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win.
Limit: One (1) entry per person and per email address. Duplicate entries, entries using multiple or false identities or email addresses, and entries generated by bot, script, or other automated means are void.
5. Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible, confirmed, correct entries received during the Entry Period.
6. Prize
One (1) winner will receive: signed copies of the Asperfell trilogy plus a set of stickers and bookmarks. Approximate retail value (“ARV”): $70 USD. The prize is non-transferable, and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted except at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Only one (1) prize will be awarded. All taxes and any expenses not specifically described as part of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
7. Winner Selection
On or about the end of the Entry Period, the Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries that (a) have been confirmed via the email double opt-in and (b) correctly name all five (5) herbs. The random drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor, and its decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway.
8. Winner Notification and Response Window
The potential winner will be notified by email at the address provided with the entry. The potential winner must respond with the requested information (including a valid US shipping address) within seven (7) days of the notification being sent. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the response window, is found ineligible, or declines the prize, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected in a subsequent random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.
9. Data Use and Privacy
By entering, you consent to the Sponsor's collection and use of the information you provide (your email address and, if supplied, your social platform and handle) solely for the purpose of administering the Giveaway, verifying eligibility, and notifying and fulfilling the prize for the winner. This information will not be sold. Entrant information will be deleted within a reasonable period after the conclusion of the Giveaway and fulfillment of the prize, except as required to be retained by law. The site has no separate privacy policy; this section governs data collected through the Giveaway.
10. Disqualification
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant it believes has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway, or who has submitted duplicate, fraudulent, automated, or bad-faith entries, or who otherwise violates these Official Rules. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law.
11. Platform Disclaimer
This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Threads, or Meta Platforms, Inc., or any other social media platform. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Sponsor and not to any such platform.
12. General Conditions
The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law. By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway.
13. Governing Law
These Official Rules and the Giveaway are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington.
